We suggest you make your reservations at least three weeks prior to arrival. Pine Island Taxi does have car seats for small children. During peak season (Feb – May), we suggest you make your reservations as far in advance as possible.

Water Taxi: Reservations are required!
North Captiva Island is only accessible by boat or private aircraft. To get to North Captiva by boat, start at Pineland Marina on Pine Island to use Island Girl Charters.

Reservations are required for all water taxi services. During the peak seasons you should set up your water taxi arrival and departure times as early as possible. This will help you secure your desired time for arrival and departure to the island. There are two types of water taxi services, scheduled and private charters.

Directions to Pineland Marina. They are located at 13921 Waterfront Drive in Pineland Florida. From 1-75 or US 41, head west on State Road 78, then take a right on State Road 767 in Pine Island Center. Next, take a left on Pineland Road. This will eventually turn into Waterfront Drive and you’ll see us on the left, nestled on the shores of Pine Island Sound. If you have any questions while traveling, the number at the marina is (239)283-3593. Visit their website for additional information at www.pinelandmarina.com. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance from the marina. The name of this restaurant is the Tarpon Lodge. Menus are located on the Pineland Marina website. There is secure parking at the marina. Please check with the marina for current parking rates.

Island Girl Charters is your gateway to North Captiva Island, providing ferry service every other hour between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. You can call 239-633-8142. The owner is Emily. Private charters are available as well.
