The house is designed for comfort and relaxation – whether that means conversation with family and friends, listening to music, watching videos, curling up with a good book or just doing nothing. The oversized screened porch has outdoor couches, a
full dining room se, and a hot tub that seats six. The crow's nest sundeck which affords 360-degree views, allows guests to watch both sunrises over Pine Island Sound and sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico. There are two color TVs with DSS satellite systems, 2 VCRs and a stereo with CD player. Heron Hideaway has extensive video and CD collections for guests' use.

This home has two master bedroom suites, each with a private bath and whirlpool tub. Each master suite has a king-size bed and opens to outside decks. The third bedroom has a pair of twin beds and also opens to a covered deck. For extra sleeping space, the living room couch can be opened into a sofabed.

The kitchen, furnished with tile countertops, Moen fixtures, and high-end appliances, is fully equipped for cooking and baking. There is even a wicker basket to use for picnics on the beach or in the state land preserve. A bar separates the kitchen from the indoor dining area.

Additional features include a separate laundry room, elevator with landings on all floors, high ceilings, ceiling fans, a hammock on the front porch and beautiful landscaping with native plants.
