Pharmacy Needs

Many of your basic pharmacy needs can be picked up at the Publix or Winn Dixie while you are picking up your groceries.

What if you are at your beach house on North Captiva and need an Rx?

1. You will need the local pharmacy phone number for your home physician. CVS (on Pine Island) (239)283-1037
2. Call you family physician back in your home town. If you doctor is willing to call in a Rx, they can call the number listed for CVS.
3. You will need to provide your credit card number to CVS.
4. Alert Pine Island Taxi (888)777-9653 (toll free) that you will have a Rx to be picked up. They charge $15.00 to pick up your Rx and bring it to the boat.
5. Pick up your Rx at the dock upon arrival of the boat.

If there is something else you need from the pharmacy while they are filling your Rx, they can add this to your order.
